[Well. This sucks.

And is quite painful too. I mean really, being strung to a tree by your underwear must be incredibly painful. Atsuro's just in luck, since that's exactly the predicament he's in right now! So you may find this loser ~~rolling around in a trash can~~ flailing around in a tree -- I mean.. this poor, confused new feather somewhere around the village, hanging from a tree and flailing around a bit while trying to get down.]

Oh good you're following. Naoto's just going to start talking now] As you may have guessed already, you aren't in your world anymore. This world is called Luceti and unfortunately, we're unable to leave, at least by free will. The Malnosso, the one's who brought you here, claim they are trying to figure out a way for us to go home by experimenting on us, though it's difficult to believe that claim.

[uh huh!

And Atsuro will listen!] So... we're stuck here? [Ugh what is this? Another Lockdown? Atsuro pauses briefly though, trying to take in what Naoto had explained.] And what do you mean by "experiments"?

Well at least he's actually taking this well. Most people freak out the moment she says all of that and call her a liar. So she just continues on] Yes, we're trapped here. There is a barrier that surrounds the village and spreads out past the mountains and ocean. As for the experiments, they're exactly as anyone would imagine just by hearing the word. The Malnosso test drugs or some material we're unaware of, on us and as far as I've seen, people can return severely injured, with memory loss, with an entire personality change, and those are only a few of the effects people return with.

[Uh huuuuuh!

Well demons were enough to freak him out before, and seeing as how he has no idea where he is right now, he may as well trust Naoto on it. Plus she does seem reliable, so... Or he, even. BECAUSE NAOTO IS A MAN.] Jeez... I really don't like the sound of that, both the face that we're trapped here and these experiments... But as far as the barrier goes, has anyone tried to find a way out of it yet? I mean, there's got to be at least some way out, right?

[Of course, they never really found an easy way out of the Yamanote Circle but... they did find one way. Though it was heavily guarded. Maybe it's not the case here though?! Hopefully.]

Yes, many people have tried but so far, it's impossible to get out. During the last experiment that effected the entire village, it took the moon pressing right against the barrier to actually break it. [And even then they weren't exactly awake when it broke completely] The Malnosso are able to take us outside of the barrier when they kidnap us but no one is conscious during that time.

[She's tried to stay awake like she did when she was kidnapped back home but she wasn't conscious long enough]

[Okay, hold off on the rest of that, Naoto. Atsuro's too busy having a double take on that first bit. Did she just say...]

Yes, it did, but I don't believe it was truly real, because as you can see, we're still alive.

[Though everyone was pretty convinced they were going to really die it was so real]

Even then, that's still crazy! How did you all even survive something like that?! I mean, it's the moon.

If it was an experiment, which I don't doubt that it was, the moon and everything that was happening may have just been like a hologram of some sort. With what we're capable of doing in the battle dome, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it truly was.

A hologram, huh? They have technology that advanced here? Geez...

[Not that... Japan doesn't have holograms... CoughVocaloidconcertscough. But still.]

And what battle dome? [Naoto, stop throwing new terms at him!]

Their technology is surprisingly advanced here.

[And they don't use it for good really.]

There's a battle dome on the other side of the village that combatants use to train. We are able to program holograms that resemble enemies and scenery from back in our own worlds. The hologram enemies are capable of bringing us harm, but not enough to kill us.

Yeah, I can tell. What about internet? Is there any sort of wireless network here?

Huh. I see... it sounds really interesting and high-tech. I'll have to check it out sometime and see what it's like myself. Does anyone know how exactly it works? [Because he can't really fathom how something like that works. how even.]
