[So! June 11! It's a very special day for Atsuro. Well, it should be, anyway. He doesn't pay much mind to it. But today marks the eighteenth anniversary of his coming out of his Wi-Fi-lacking nerdlinger womb. Of course, he finds the day no different from yesterday, but the thought of him being eighteen is still kinda weird.

But that matters not. What interests him more are the results of some of his findings after examining Hiro's cell phone and comparing its demon-summoning application to the one on his COMP. Seeing as how demons can't actually be summoned here, he couldn't find much, but the few things he did discover were pretty interesting and got him wondering about some ~things~. So sometime around noon he'll throw up a voice entry asking about said things.]

Yo, Luceti! I've got a question for you all. So lots of people here have creatures other than animals in their home worlds, right? I was wondering if any of you could tell me about them, especially if they can be, er... summoned. If not, that's fine too. I'm just kinda curious. Thanks!

Not much in particular, but I guess I'm mainly interested in hearing about how exactly things like that are summoned. Anything else would be fine too though.

Oh. Well, first you've gotta find the Summon Spirits, but that's not usually hard. Most of 'em have shrines or temples where they like to be. Then you ask them if they'll make a pact with you; I'm pretty sure they can only have one pact at a time, unless the last pact-maker broke his.

Then usually you fight them. So they know you're a worthy summoner.

Let's see... We call them Eidolons. The ones I know are Mist Dragon, Titan, Whyt, Chocobo, Shiva, Ifrit, Ramuh, Sylph, Odin, Asura, Leviathan, Bahamut, Goblin, Bomb, Cockatrice and Mindflayer. Most live in a different dimension called the Feymarch, though a few have their own homes and others are usually normal monsters. To use their power, a summoner must first defeat them.

[Elaborating. Explaining. Right. Good. Just give him a moment to swat his bird away.]

In my home world, there were two parts. Naraka, where humans live, and Devaloka, where the Devas, or gods, lived. 'Lived' because it's destroyed now because of one dumbass who used the Manifest for the wrong reasons. A lot of the gods had something special about them, whether is was the power of the harvest or insight or even just great strength - there was even a god who could create talking weapons that everyone fought for - but I don't know if any of them could summon demons.

[Whew. Okay. Bird shut up. Second coming.]

The souls of the gods could never really die like humans can, they're just reborn. So each time a god died they just came back as a baby and grew up without memories of their past life. There was a big group of gods that abused their power and were banned from Devaloka, so they were tossed down onto Naraka and became the first humans there. I guess when they died there, they couldn't be reborn again and just... rotted.

[ After the Brigade meeting, Ryoji hurries off but he stops by the plaza later, only to grin at the sight of Atsuro in the dress. ]

My, you're looking adorable today, Atsuro!

[ He may or may not be joking, but either way he quickly moves on, abruptly holding out a small box wrapped in colored paper. The paper is decorated with drawings Ryoji has done himself. They include a computer and their game of volleyball, as well as just general decorations like hearts, stars ~~and horseshoes, clovers~~ and ~~blue~~ moons. ]

I forgot to bring this with me to the meeting, but I wanted to say Happy Birthday!

[He shrugs. Not smirking.]

On the bright side, Ryoji moved on from it, so that's good. Atsuro would rather not dwell on this dress thing ugh. He stares at the small box covered in Ryoji's drawings ~~along with pots of gold and rainbows, and the red balloons~~, clearly a bit surprised. But! Pleasantly surprised. Huh.]

Oh, is this for me? [He doesn't get gifts on his birthday often! Or well, nicely wrapped ones (aside from those from Kouki and possibly Yuzu), since his parents would just ship them and yeah. So he grins.] Well, thanks, Ryoji!
